The first step to becoming Fearless
A strong meditation practice, along with physical movements. With an active anatomy, I am mindful of how I engage each muscle. Living in the moment enriches all experiences, yoga is a way of getting to know myself better.
Practicing discipline doesn’t have to be sitting in a corner staring at the walls. it can be invigorating with fiery passion and excitement for the exploration of the human anatomy.
Feeling our presence has become detached from our culture due to excessive computer attention, cell phones, television etc. Practicing returning to your body and feeling the sensations of simply being alive is a journey to self realization.
Closed mindedness and fear have kept our hearts from opening. This sacred activity has nothing to do with moving up in life, more to do with moving into life.
The world we live in is based upon perspective and our level of adaptation. By increasing stability and expanding our range of balance, we gain the skills needed to adapt to our situations much easier, and find greater understanding of the larger concept of truth.
Becoming more physically flexible leads to becoming more mentally flexible. Breaking down barriers, sweating out the toxins, smiling wide, conquering the mind!
Through creating art and expressing myself through songs and dance, yoga helps me slow down and get clear on each micro movement, and deepen my sense of listening.
Yoga has become my routine, my encouragement, my gift to the people around me. My practice is dedicated to gratitude. Being thankful for the breath in my lungs, the food in my belly, and the support in my community. Yoga connects me to people in a loving, nurturing way. Since I began practicing yoga, I have noticed an increase in compassion and strengthened kindness towards myself and all beings.
